The Fremont Fair celebrates its 43rd year this month and we can’t wait to be a part of it! One of Seattle’s most beloved and longstanding festivals, the Fremont Fair is the culmination of three events: (1) the Solstice Fair, (2) the Solstice Parade and (3) the Solstice Concert Series. Adhering to the neighbourhood’s all but official motto, deliberates quirkas, meaning “the freedom to be peculiar”, the weekend is jam packed with music, crafts, tasty food and time spent outdoors!

We’ll be at the fair on June 22, giving away free Storrage containers and showing you how to use our awesome app! Come say hi and get ready to expand your living space.

Here are our top picks for the weekend:

  • Seattle Art Car Blowout: over 75 cars and “cartists” from all over the US and Canada come together to celebrate the wacky, weird and fantastic world of art cars. From cool paint jobs, to serious mods, this portion of the Fair will make you re-think your ride! Look out for a car made from from dentures, aptly titled CrewBaru.
  • Food: no street fest is complete without an endless array of food trucks, stands and vendors serving both traditional fair-food like, curly fries and elephant ears and more interesting eats from venders like, Olympic Farmer’s Market staple, Jawa Gourmet Nut Roasters and Gluten Free Bakery, Nuflours.
  • Tacocat: a mix of 60’s surf rock and 90’s pop-punk, Seattle favourites are taking the stage alongside, The Young Evils, Campfire Ok & Built to Spill. The foursome take the stage on Friday at 6:45pm on the Redhook MainStage.
